The sun is on its way back, and so is summer. Along with the nice weather is a run of Pink Salmon coming into the Squamish River. The fish average between 6 and 8 pounds and are silver bright from the ocean. Most of the fishing is done with fly rods, and previous knowledge is not necessary. All our guides are competent instructors and will help you learn the art of fly fishing.

The Salmon fishing is not the only game in town, there is river fishing for Rainbow trout in the Pemberton area. Dropping river levels are making for ideal conditions. Dry fly fishing for trout is a real possibility here.

Our premier summer excursion is a float plane fly-in day trip to Spruce Lake. Spruce Lake is a situated in a sub-alpine wilderness a short flight north east of Whistler. Typically, the fishing is non-stop with hard fighting rainbows. Bonuses include a spectacular flight over glaciated mountains and the chance to see mountain goats and grizzly bears.
