Full day walk and wade or float tube – 9 hours door to door from your Whistler accommodation.  A full day will enable you to have the best chance of success. One person $450 pp* 2 or more $295 pp* Youth 15 & under  $265 pp (each youth accompanied by an adult)

Trips do not include BC fishing licence or lunch. 

Full Day River Float

 Float down the Squamish river in the Spring or Fall for Bull Trout, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Salmon and Steelhead. One person $525 pp* 2 or more $335 pp* Trips do not include BC fishing licence or lunch.

Half Day  Walk and Wade or Float Tube

Half  day  walk and wade or  float tube -- 5 hours door to door from your Whistler accommodation.  Ideal for those with time constraints.  Offers a great introduction to fly fishing. One person $335 pp* 2 or more $225 pp*  Youth 15 & under $200 pp (each youth accompanied by an adult) 

Trips do not include BC fishing licence or lunch.

    Whistler Fishing Guides encourages all clients to experience fly fishing.  Our guides have introduced many first timers to fly fishing.  We target all five species of Pacific Salmon, Steelhead, Trout and Char on over a dozen rivers and over fifty lakes. Whether you are fishing a local lake in the Whistler Valley for trout, or heli-fishing a remote river for Salmon or Steelhead, Whistler Fishing Guides will make your experience a memorable one.

Fishing Seasons


Spring (March, April, May):  Steelhead, Rainbow/Cutthroat Trout and Bull Trout/Dolly Varden Char.


Summer (June, July, August):  Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Bull Trout/Dolly Varden Char and Pink Salmon odd numbered years.


Fall (September, October, November):  Coho & Chum Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Bull Trout/Dolly Varden Char.

     What to Bring

  • Wear comfortable clothes to fit under the waders, long underwear and top Extra socks, jacket, fleece, rain jacket

  • Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat & camera

  • Fishing license

  • Snacks, beverages and lunch


  • Full day 9 hours:  $450 one person, two or more $295 per person

  • Half Day 5 hours: $335 one person, two or more $225 per person

  •  Youth 10 to 15: $265 per person full day, $200 per person half day (Accommodated by an adult)
